Cammin Facendo is a startup wants to promote Italian places to discover by enticing slow tourism. It does all this through CREATIVE BOXES, with products from local artisans inside and advice on experiences to be had in the area.

Box Valsesia - Upper Piedmont

- The Logbook is an illustrated guidebook containing descriptions of the area and advice on routes to take on foot or by bicycle depending on which “slow tourist” you are.  It also shows the experiences to be had: nature, gastronomic and cultural activities. Some more specific sections of the Diary (“Strolling meets Bottegando”) tell about some of the essential realities to get to know, attentive to quality and sustainability. There are also blank pages you can fill in with photos, suggestions and stories of your own journey.

- THE VOCATION OF GETTING LOST. A small essay on how paths find wayfarers by Franco Michieli . A book from Ediciclo Editore belonging to the series “Little Philosophy of Travel” is an adventurous essay that invites one to turn away from false security and established paths. The author, a professional explorer, geographer and writer, performs extraordinary feats and exhorts us to “lose ourselves” even in our daily routines and habitual places.

- The illustrated postcard is a print of a drawing from life, in black India ink and watercolor, made by artist and creator of Cammin Facendo Lucia Bruno; it depicts a vantage point, a glimpse that you may enjoy looking for when you visit.

- The handcrafted product is a unique piece made entirely by Claudio of Walserbuteja, an eclectic craftsman and artist. Claudio takes care of every step of the process, from the selection of the raw material to the creation of the final product

- The Voucher Carnet offers seventy ways to really meet the realities of Valsesia, with discounts and free experiences. Some of these must be booked or requested by presenting in addition to the voucher the ticket on which the date of purchase of the box is indicated (validity period: some 6 months, others 12 or no expiration)

- Silvia's vegetable wax scented bee is the sustainable product. MioLab is an artisan company in Varallo that makes scented candles and wafers with vegetable wax. This one in particular has a scent that is reminiscent of Valsesia, Italy's greenest valley; woody accords and pine scents blend with musk and Edelweiss. It will be perfect for scenting your zaiono, tent or closet.
