Ager Oliva is a Pistoia-based startup founded in 2021 with the aim of recovering the abandoned hillside olive-growing heritage, now increasingly at risk, and creating the world's largest community of sustainable olive oil lovers.
The Tuscan startup has thus launched a solution that is as innovative as it is effective: thanks to the possibility - open to both individuals and companies - of adopting a single olive tree as an entire field, the company has managed to save abandoned land, make olive groves productive again and increase the production of Tuscan extra virgin olive oil.
Founded by Tommaso Dami, Ana Soto and Cosimo Lunetti, Ager Oliva in just a few years has been able to distinguish itself for the effectiveness of its activities and to date is the only climate tech company operating in Italy with regard to the preservation of secular biodiversity and CO2 offsetting.
