Stay Away! is a game for 4-12 players where the role will be that of a member of a recovery team sent to the supposed island of R'lyeh. Your goal will be to investigate, but watch out because not everything is what it seems....
The philosophy behind Stay Away! is one of having fun being together and giving some thrills.
The concept behind it is simple, but effective. It basically involves tracking down “The Thing,” a sickening creature awakened from an eternal sleep that has the peculiarity of being able to take over the body of a human being and clone it, taking its place. So as you play you will not know who “The Thing” is or when someone will become one, and you will also not know who is infected or not.
Having flair, pretending, lying and keeping your nerves and eyes open are the basis of winning every game, but you will never know how it will turn out. You could be on the trail of “The Thing” but then be infected and thus bargain for her and her legion of infected. Anything can happen and that is what creates the chaos, fun and tension in the group of players!
